To create a virtual disk header file:

  1. Log in to the console of the ESX host.
  2. Run this command to go to the directory that contains the virtual disk with the missing header/descriptor file:cd /vmfs/volumes/myvmfsvolume/mydir

Unsupported Console and SSH on ESXi 4

  1. alt-f1 (Note: As pointed out below, you will not see your typing on this screen, just trust us, it is there).
  2. unsupported (ตอนพิมพ์จะมองไม่เห็น)
  3. Password : พิมพ์ password ของ root (มองเห็น)
  4. vi /etc/inetd.conf
  5. delete the “#” from ssh
  6. ps | grep inetd
  7. kill -HUP all pid
  8. services.sh restart

ตอนนี้ไมโครซอร์ฟได้ปล่อย Hyper-V  ออกมาแล้ว หลายคนรอดูว่าผู้ขาย VMware กี่รายที่จะเปลี่ยนไปขาย Hyper-V จะมีเหตุผลให้บริษัทที่ลงทุนด้าน VMware ไปแล้วเปลี่ยนไปใช้ Hyper-V หรือเปล่า นี่จะเป็นบางเหตุผลที่จะทำให้องค์กรที่ใช้ VMware อยู่เปลี่ยน (หรือไม่เปลี่ยน) ไปใช้ Hyper-V
