Unsupported Console and SSH on ESXi 4

  1. alt-f1 (Note: As pointed out below, you will not see your typing on this screen, just trust us, it is there).
  2. unsupported (ตอนพิมพ์จะมองไม่เห็น)
  3. Password : พิมพ์ password ของ root (มองเห็น)
  4. vi /etc/inetd.conf
  5. delete the “#” from ssh
  6. ps | grep inetd
  7. kill -HUP all pid
  8. services.sh restart

    พอดีลองทำตาม stepข้างบน แล้วคะ แล้วหลังจากพิมพ์ alt-f1, unsupported หน้าจอก็ัยังนิ่งๆ ไม่แสดงอะไร
    คือไม่มั่นใจว่าเป็น behavior ที่ถูกแล้วหรือป่าว ตามข้อความใน () อ่ะคะ
    เลยอยากถามว่า หลังจากพิมพ์ unsupported แล้วจะมีข้อความปรากฏขึ้นมาหรือป่าวคะ หรือว่าไม่แสดงอะไรเลยจน step สุดท้ายถูกแล้ว

  2. ตอนพิมพ์ unsupported จะมองไม่เห็นครับ
    root pw คือ password ของ root ครับ
    หลังจากนั้นจะเห็นทั้งหมด

    หลังจาก ps | grep inetd
    เห็น pid อะไรบ้างก็
    kill -HUP ทีละ pid ครับ
